Ms. Pavla Hajian

Ms. Pavla Hajian has experience as a director and owner of a nursery school in Ealing, London. She has worked for many years at international language schools and nurseries. She has now been running the Wonderland kindergarten for eight years and is the founder of the private school Wonderland Academy. Ms. Pavla holds a DPP (Diploma in Pre-school Practice) and attended the NVQ Level 3 university course. She graduated in all levels of Montessori education. She also attended an accredited course of the National Institute of Continuing Education (NIDV): a qualification course for headmasters. She studied Environmental Education and received the title of Environmental Coordinator of Schools. Furthermore she attended Menza ITL learning and a Genetic reading methods course. As in previous years, she will actively participate in teaching and learning plans and personally supervise compliance with all regulations, standardsand most importantly to ensure maximum satisfaction for your children.

Ms. Veronika Bergmanová
Director of MŠ Wonderland
Veronika was born in „hundred-spired“ Prague, which she loves. She graduated from Primary education with focus on teaching English at Charles University and she also holds a diploma in Pre-school and Out-of-school Pedagogy. She has an experience as a class teacher at a primary school focused on languages, and mainly as a director of a private kindergarten focusing on sports and languages.
In addition to these studies, she also attended the highly esteemed Music school of Jaroslav Ježek so it‘s obvious, that she is a passionate music lover. In the Spring, Veronika received her certificate as a child yoga instructor. She has been a leader of children's camps many times. Veronika is the mother of Isabela and Max. She loves to spend her free time in the countryside or by reading good books.
She is looking forward to working in the above-standart environment and with the great team of Wonderland Preschool but also with you, parents. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact her, she will gladly answer all your questions.

Ms. Renata comes from Rakovník and after her secondary pedagogical school she gained experiences as a teacher in the pre-school. Then, together with the postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Charles University, she worked as HR Director in Short Film at Barrandov, where she worked for 5 years. After the birth of her son, Daniel and her daughter, Natalie, she returned to school education, she graduated from a two-year accredited study for directors and school facilities with a focus on school management and education in the European context. At that time she was already working in a private pre-school with a focus on sports and healthy nutrition, where she worked as a director for 8 years. She gained further experiences as a director in a private Czech-English school in Prague 9. During these years, she completed a wide range of other education for child development and conferences for school directors, such as: Early Mathematics for Preschool, Working with Persona Doolls, Dolls with personality, Respect and be respected, etc.
Besides pedagogical work, she is also dedicated to personality and professional guise. She is very open and honest, the relationship with children enriches her life, she likes to see their growth, effort and joy of joint success. She is raising her son and her daughter by herself, and she is mostly devoted to them, but she still finds time for her hobbies, such as sports and new cultures.

Rebecca, nicknamed Becca, was born in California in the United States. She recently moved to Prague two months ago to complete her CELTA certificate at Oxford House. Rebecca has absolutely fallen in love with the beauty of Prague and plans to stay for a very long time.
Rebecca has had experience working with children since the age of 13 and has most recently been a professional nanny for 6 years. She loves working with children because it gives her a positive, fun perspective on life and she can visibly see their growth as they gain new knowledge. Rebecca graduated early from the University of California, Santa Barbara and received a degree in Music Studies. She has been trained in Opera singing for about 10 years. She cannot wait to bring music into her teaching with the children.
In her free time, Rebecca still loves to explore new parts of Prague while meeting the most amazing new friends from all different cultures. Rebecca is thrilled to begin as a new teacher at Wonderland Preschool in the new year and looks forward to meeting all of the children and their parents as we embark on this journey to learn English!
Ms. Magdalena (Magda) likes to spend time with little children and this is since she was one of them. In her pedagogical approach she feels the most important element is the empathy. She personaly is capable of that and she says, mainly because she has never forgotten how she felt like a child in different situations. "I want to educate children so they can keep a piece of child in them for their whole life. Thanks to this, they might even in their adulthood comes to everything that waits for them with natural curiosity and the desire to discover and enjoy everyday joy from seemingly trivialities. "
Magda studied at Art High School and later at the Faculty of Education of Charles University and worked as a nanny in private families. She cared for children from six weeks to six years. During her studies she also worked in a private nursery and led art lessons for children. Since 2012, she has been a art lecturer at Oko and Aero's art workshops. For the last two yearsand she has been lecturing creative workshops at the Villa Pellé Gallery. After the University graduation she joined a primary school, where she was a class teacher of pre-school children. She also taught other subjects in different classes, including eg, Art and Physical Education. She became a mother of a two-year-old son. She enjoys maternity a lot and adds that it is another essential practice for her work.

Ms. Laura born in Asuncion, Paraguay. She attended Stael Ruffinelli de Ortiz English Music and Arts where she obtained her Trinity CertTESOL: NQF (National Qualities Framework) level 5. This certification is validated by Trinity College London and is equivalent to the CELTA which is validated by Cambridge ESOL. She studied Psychology for 3 years at Universidad Columbia de Asuncion and worked at a primary bilingual school for almost 9 years where she taught English to students of all ages and levels. There, she also prepared students to take the International Trinity English language test each year.
In 2014, Ms. Laura had the opportunity to chaperone a class of high school students on a trip to Colorado (U.S.A.) as a part of an international student exchange program that was organized by the language school she worked for. She learned new skills and techniques from many experienced teachers during her trip that helped her grow into the teacher she is now.
Ms. Laura is passionate about education and highly aware of the positive impact that teachers can have on their students. She believes a teacher’s guidance should help students to improve their critical thinking and overall cognitive function. She likes teaching young learners because of their energy and curiosity, and she loves to learn new things about education and psychology! She originally visited Prague in February 2017 and liked it so much that she moved here in October 2018. She is excited to explore her new home! In her free time, Ms. Laura enjoys long walks, cooking, reading, running, cycling, and, of course, travelling.
Karolína has been devoted to music since seven years of her age when she started to play piano. She has decided to further develope her musical skills in the field of harp at Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and then at HAMU in Prague, where she is currently completing her studies. She has studied one semester at the Royal College of Music in London through the Erasmus.
She was always interested and tempted to work with children. Her first experience in this direction was working with children at summer musical camps. During her studies in Ostrava, she taught at the Art School for four years. In the school year 2017/2018 she was a teacher at the private pre-school Radost.
Her hobbies include culinary, sports and reading.
Tereza was born in Prague. However, she spent her childhood in Špindlerův Mlýn. Thanks to this part of her life, she gained a lot of experience in winter sports and winter as a season itself. She spent one-year studying social-legal education at higher vocational school. She interrupted this study to fulfil her dream, which is to study psychology at FF UK, where she is now in her third year. As part of her practice, she visits children at Motol hospital.
She has gained experience with children during the last 8 years, during which, she spent a lot of time with children of different ages. She has lead camps for children and school in nature. She has also looked after children privately for families and worked as a teacher’s assistant in a private preschool. She can also boast about a medical practitioner’s course.
Her hobbies are mainly spending time with friends, reading interesting books and going to the theatre.
My first introduction to childhood education came when I taught the subject ‘Osobnostně sociální výchova’ (Personality and Social Education) at a kindergarten, where I was able to play and interact with children. I thoroughly enjoyed this, so I decided to continue my studies in this direction. I graduated from the High School of Education in Prague 6, where my primary focus was on dramatic education. I learned to play piano, guitar, and flute during my lessons there, and I later learned to play the ukulele. I have been singing since I was very young, and I attended singing lessons in elementary school for about five years and for a further four years in high school. In addition to music, I enjoy artistic activities.

Ms. Dominika Kiene
Speech therapist and special educator
Dominika Kiene graduated from the Faculty of Education at Charles University. After finishing her studies, she joined the phoniatric department at the ENT clinic in Bulovka. As a clinical speech therapist she also worked at the Phoniatric Clinic in Prague 2, FN 2. She then lived abroad with her husband, an American diplomat. She worked in the Special Services Division in the Bahamas as a logoped consultant for socially disadvantaged families. In the USA, she was teaching Czech. She worked as a Czech lecturer at Adult Education in Virginia and at the school Inligua, which prepared diplomats for the US Embassy around the world. After returning to Prague she currently works in private speech therapy. She helped the private clinic LOGO open a branch in Prague, working with Canadian Medical Care as a clinical logoped for children and adults from a multilingual environment. Experiences from the Special Pedagogical Center for Children with Speech Disorders are also important. She is currently working as a clinical speech therapist in Prague 10 and intensively cooperates with various bilingual nurseries. Dominika is the mother of two adult children. Her son works in New York City and her daughter is studying at the MICA Art University in Baltimore.
Miss Zuzka graduated from a Family School with an economic and administrative focus. She has two children, Terezka and Tomas.
Miss Zuzka deals with all kinds of economic matters and obligatory child documentation for the school. She provides food, records attendance, and prepares contractual documentation. She is very willing to cooperate, and you can contact her at any time.
Mr. Plíva works as a caretaker and driver for Wonderland Kindergarten and Wonderland Academy. He provides the collection, transport and delivery of children by minibus to and from the school, and for various trips. His other duties include repairs and maintenance of the buildings and gardens.
Because he is very skillful and happy to work with children, he runs the Little handyman course, which is very popular.
He is a regular blood donor and a passionate restorer of old clocks.
Michal grew up in Litoměřice, where he played ice-hockey and football from a young age. He is a mechanic of track machines, he worked for several years at Czech Railways. He has also run landlord activities and has tried out a tough job in the private sector.
His great long life love remains in sport. In 1994 he obtained a coaching license and began to work at the children's and youth clubs as a football coach. He has experience working with children from 5 to 16 years of age. He is currently working at 1.FK Příbram.
From his first marriage he has two sons, Michael and Luke. In his current relationship with his partner Šárka, they have two sons, John and James. If time allows him, he spends it with them as much as possible in the wilderness.
